Indy, is my 1968 Ford Mustang, affectionally named after the American Indian Buffalo shield which adorned the Oklahoma license plate, she wore when she first arrived to the UK. Originally built and sold in San Jose California, she made her way to McLoud, a small town in Oklahoma, where she was last on the road in 2004, before taking the trip across the pond in 2020 and being recommissioned by myself over the last 3 years.
Indy’s what’s known as a survivor car, who still maintains many original parts including her original Lime-Gold paint that she left the factory with over 50 years ago, this combined with the white vinyl roof and white lettered tyres, is a breath-taking sight. The aggressive yet elegant styling, is the ideal back drop for any wedding photography. Under the hood is a 302ci small block Ford, mated to a 4 barrel Edelbrock carburetor and 3 speed automatic transmission which puts out a healthy 285bhp and an engine note sure to put a smile on any car enthusiasts face.
The all original black interior, comfortably fits 3 passengers with retrofitted 3 point seat belts in the front and lap belts in rear for added safety.
