Car 25 – 2016 Mustang GT California Special 5.0l V8

This new California Special Mustang is a rare example on the roads in the UK being left hand drive and imported from Canada this year. After a bit of research I decided to go for a left hand drive model, as the specification and features are better, but I also decided that as I am going down that route, I wanted something a bit special. I found out that only in 2016, Ford were releasing a model called the California Special, which has very retro hood indicators and also has many extras like the beautiful leather seats – both heated and cooled.
I was thrilled for my Mustang to be chosen for a music video for the Swedish band NOTD with Tove Styrke. Their song “been there, done that” has seen some real success and they needed the right car for their video, a 2016 Mustang GT Convertible!
In 2023 I drove my Mustang from the UK to Athens and back – rumour has it that in doing so, it’s made “Mustang History!” So far this beautiful Mustang has travelled through 12 countries including Bosnia, Serbia, Macedonia and Hungry. By hiring her for your first trip together as a married couple, you’d be taking a ride in living history!
